Limited Warranty Claims


At Dubarry of Ireland, we take great care and pride in the design and craftsmanship of all our products. We use only the best of raw materials to the highest international manufacturing standards. It is our objective that every product we sell should be perfect. All products are come with a limited warranty to guard against defects in materials and workmanship for one year from the date of purchase. Your statutory rights are in no way affected.

In the most unlikely event that a Dubarry product does not match up to our standards, and qualifies under our warranty policy, we will take corrective action.  If, within twelve months of purchase, there are any defects in your product you would like assessed for warranty action, then please return it, along with proof of purchase, to the outlet/vendor from where you purchased.  It will be raised to our service department for assessment under warranty. Should your item condition meet warranty conditions, we will repair it. In the event of it not being repairable then we will replace it. Should your item not meet warranty conditions but a repair is available, we will advise you on repair options.

Where purchased directly from Dubarry of Ireland, either online or from Dubarry Events, goods must be returned in undamaged packaging by registered or any other postage method requiring the recipient (Dubarry of Ireland) to sign on delivery. Please note, postage charges must be covered by the customer.

Please note that normal wear and tear or accidental damage to the item is not covered under the returns/replacement policy. However, our Customer Service Department will be happy to provide you with a quotation for repair where possible.

Repairs inside of warranty period

For Dubarry of Ireland product repairs inside of the one year warranty, all repairs are carried out free of charge. Where you purchased from a Dubarry of Ireland retailer, you must return the product in the first instance to where you originally purchased them for an initial assessment.

Repairs outside of warranty period

For Dubarry of Ireland product repairs outside of the one year warranty, there is usually a repair charge plus shipping from the customer to Dubarry of Ireland. However, some general repairs can be carried out free of charge. We may send these from our US location to Ireland or to a 3rd party in the US for completion. These include:

  • Some stitching
  • Replacement of dog-chewed boot cuffs
  • Repair of loose boot linings
  • Repair or replacement of some zippers, snaps, eyelets or other embellishments

    Please note that an assessment must be carried out to determine whether repairs on an item are possible first. We ask that all items returned for warranty inspection be cleaned first and free of all mud and manure.
