Boot Care
What is the Dubarry leather cream for?
Dubarry strongly recommends for well-worn footwear use of our Leather Cream in the foot area and in particular the flex part of the smooth leather. This will help protect, preserve, and soften the leather. Apply sparingly to smooth leather surfaces with a soft cloth or soft brush. DO NOT apply to the nubuck or suede sections of the boots. Excess cream should be wiped clean or allowed to soak into leather. Always keep care products out of reach of children.
What should I do if I get horse manure on the boots?
Yard manure, waste liquids and salt water can be very corrosive to leather. To prolong performance and protection for your Dubarry footwear, always scrub them with a soft brush and rinse with fresh tap water after exposure. To help prolong life in any corrosive environment, we strongly recommend using Dubarry Leather Cream frequently, both as a barrier to corrosive substances before use, and to care for the leather after-use.
What should I use to clean my Dubarry boots?
The first step in your Dubarry care regime is to remove heavy mud and dirt, which should be removed initially with tap water and a brush. Make sure that yard manure and waste liquids are thoroughly rinsed off immediately with fresh tap water. The same applies to seawater and/or salt. Then use our scrub Cleaner, which has been developed using skin care technology. It contains a light beaded material that aids in the removal of dirt and other residues. It leaves the footwear in prime condition ready for conditioning.

Please adhere strictly to the cleaning guides of the labels of your Dubarry garments.
How do I clean my Dubarry tweed garments?
Our tweeds are enhanced with Teflon® fabric protector, which provides durable, long-lasting protection against oil- and water-based stains, dust and dry soil. Fabrics with Teflon® stay looking newer longer and are easier to care for. We recommend dry cleaning ONLY as a cleaning method for our tweed garments.

Footwear Size
Are EU footwear sizes different than US sizes?
Yes… All of our footwear is made in European (EU) Sizes. Please check the Dubarry Size Conversion Charts for footwear here. These charts show the equivalent European (EU) and US sizes. As sizing varies across different brands and markets, this information is offered as a guide. If you are not able to visit a Dubarry retail partner to try on and buy footwear, we offer free return and exchange shipping through our website within the USA on boot and shoe purchases over a certain value. Can my waterproof breathable footwear be stretched?
We recommend extreme caution if attempting to have Dubarry GORE-TEX lined footwear stretched as stretching may not resolve your issue, and can damage the GORE-TEX membrane, causing your footwear to leak. You may choose to take the footwear to a local cobbler to see if they can help you in this instance, but you do so at your own risk. If your unworn boots are too small and you have purchased them directly from Dubarry, we recommend exchanging them with us for the next size up. If you are uncertain whether the next size will be too large, ask our service team about providing you with a Dubarry footbed to try with the next size. Our Dubarry footbeds are designed to offer extra under-foot support and comfort, but can also be used to achieve a custom fit if you are between sizes. How do I choose Dubarry boots that will fit my calf size?
The Dubarry country boot collection contains boots in a range of sizes and calf widths. Dubarry have developed three special variations of our classic Galway boot to cater for a range of fitting requirements. Please consult the boot measurement charts here to find a pair that suits your sizing needs. Please note that these guides are merely indicative as feet/leg dimensions do vary from person to person.
I have a wider calf; how do I find a pair of Dubarry boots to fit me?
The Dubarry country boot collection contains boots in a range of sizes and calf widths. The Galway ExtraFit™ boot caters for the more generous calf muscle. Foot entry for higher in-steps has been increased plus there is additional joint measurement for a wider foot. Please consult the boot measurement charts here to find a pair that suits your sizing needs.
I have very slim legs; can I find a pair of Dubarry boots that will look good on me?
Dubarry have recently introduced the Galway SlimFit™ for customers with a slimmer calf. This version of Galway is narrower around the calf muscle area. Foot entry and joint measurements are the same as the Galway RegularFit™ boot. Find out more here.
What do I do if my Dubarry boots / shoes do not fit?
Should you wish to exchange your footwear for a bigger/smaller size, we will be happy to help you within 30 days of receipt, providing the items are unworn and undamaged and the purchase original receipt is included or referenced. Before you exchange your size, ask our service team about providing you with a Dubarry footbed. Our Dubarry footbeds are designed to offer extra under-foot support and comfort, but can also be used to achieve a custom fit if you are between sizes, so you may want to try a pair before you move down a size, or ask us to provide you with a pair to try when we send you the next size up . If you are unable to find a fit that works for you, we can issue a full refund for unworn footwear so long as they are in boxed condition within the returns period. Every pair of boots we ship includes a pre-paid shipping label and a returns form for you to let us know whether you need a refund or exchange – please keep your packaging until you are satisfied with your footwear. Are EU clothing sizes different to US sizes?
Our Women’s clothing is made and listed in European Sizes while our Men’s Clothing is in standard SM/MD/LG etc sizing. Please check the Dubarry Size Conversion Charts for clothing here. The charts show the equivalent European and US sizes for women, and for all sizes, these charts indicate standard critical measurements for each garment type. As sizing varies across different brands and markets, this information is offered as a guide. If you are not able to visit a Dubarry retail partner to try on and buy clothing, we offer free return and exchange shipping through our website within the USA on purchases over a certain value. Orders
Can I cancel my order after I have placed it?
If you wish to cancel your order and receive a full refund, please do so before we dispatch your order which may be within a few hours of you placing the order (Mon-Fri), to 2 working days. To cancel, please call our customer service team at +1 866 658 3569 and quote your order number. Should you wish to cancel once your order has been dispatched, you will need to follow the returns/refunds process after receiving the order.
How can I resolve a problem with my order?

I am missing / have an incorrect item in my order. What do I do?
Please call our US Customer Service Team at +1 866 658 3569 ASAP and quote your order number to resolve this.
Is my credit card charged immediately?
When you confirm your order/payment details via the ShopPay secure server, we authorize a payment but the system will not debit the money from your card until the day your goods are dispatched. Your card details are not stored by our system, nor are they ever seen by us. Your card information is processed through ShopPay (An international based processing company using the most current security technology to keep your payments secure).
The website won’t accept my card payment. Can I phone in my order?

Why am I not receiving any email confirmation of my order?
If you don’t receive an email confirmation of your order within one hour of placing your order online, please check the spam folder or your email account. You may find that the email is directed there. If you don’t find the confirmation email in your spam folder, please try logging in to your account online and check that you have provided the correct email address. If details supplied are correct, please contact the US Customer Service Team by phone at +1 866 658 3569 or email at us-sales@dubarry.com to investigate the matter further. What payment methods does Dubarry of Ireland accept?
Customers who buy from our online store at www.dubarry.com can pay for purchases using most major credit or debit cards, including MasterCard, Visa credit card, Visa debit card, Maestro and Discover. We do not accept PayPal, checks or postal orders on www.dubarry.com/us/.
Repairs
Can my Dubarry boots/shoes be repaired?
In the unlikely event of a problem with your Dubarry product, you must return them in the first instance to where they were originally purchased for an initial assessment. The next step will be for the Dubarry Customer Service Team to determine whether these goods should be repaired, replaced, or returned.
Where purchased directly from Dubarry, we advise that you first send pictures showing any damage to us-info@dubarry.com. Please provide as much information as you can about your issue, as well as information about where and when you purchased the item and receipts or proof of purchase. We will advise you further after initial assessment from your images.
In instances where we advise you to return product to our US Warehouse, please do so in suitable packaging, and with documentation included that identifies yourself as the sender to:

It is very important to include your receipt, or where/when purchased so we can and specific details about where our product has not met with your expectations. Don’t forget to include your full contact details including postal address and a daytime contact telephone number.
Why does Dubarry ask for proof of purchase in repair and warranty cases?
This helps us to validate any potential warranty claims and guards against fraud. If you are only seeking repair advice for a third-party service, proof of purchase will not be necessary. If you purchased from our website, we should be able to help you locate sales records if you no longer have them. If you purchased from us at an event or one of our own stores and did not provide a name or email at time of purchase, locating your record at our end may not be possible without documentation from you such as a line from your credit card statement. If you purchased from a Dubarry dealer and have lost your receipt, you may have to ask that retailer to help provide proof of purchase.
The laces on my boots have been chewed by my dog/have snapped. How do I replace them?
In order to replace the laces on your Dubarry boots, you must return them in the first instance to where they were originally purchased so that they can be sent back to Dubarry for replacement. Where purchased directly from Dubarry please return goods to: Customer Service Team.
The leather has cracked on my Dubarry boots, can this be fixed?
If the leather on the boots has cracked across the main foot area (the vamp), unfortunately it cannot be repaired. However, if the nubuck finish leather along the seam of the inner boot leg becomes worn or the stitching becomes damaged, repairs may be carried out.
How long will it take to receive a refund after I return an item?
Dubarry of Ireland will refund the original customer’s credit/debit card, once the goods have been returned and we are satisfied that items are unworn and undamaged as stated in the returns policy. We usually process returns within 2 full working days of receipt, but It can take 5 to 7 working days for card issuers to return funds to your card after we have issued the refund from our end. We will notify you when your return is in processing using the email address you have provided.
What is Dubarry of Ireland’s returns policy?
We ask that any returns for refund or exchange are for unworn product only in “as-new” condition, made within 30 days of receiving the order, and that tags and packaging are intact. All web orders are shipped with a return/exchange form printed on the back of your dispatch slip, and if you qualified for free shipping and returns, your package will also include a pre-paid shipping label. We extend the returns period during the winter holiday season to allow for gift-giving, and will make note of this exception for those periods.

What are your courier’s delivery hours?
Our couriers deliver between 9am and 5pm on Mondays to Fridays only (not bank holidays). You will receive an automated email on dispatch of your goods.
